Sample collection
A tumour sample and/or a routine blood draw is used. We arrange the logistics in cooperation with your doctor.
FOR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES
Tumour molecular analysis gives your doctor a more detailed view of the biology of the disease. This page explains what each level includes and what it can realistically mean for you — without unnecessary promises.
Information material — always in cooperation with your doctor. No obligation · confidential · GDPR compliant.
Insight — entry level, analysing the tumour at DNA and RNA level + a blood test (liquid biopsy).
Advanced — a deeper view for more complex or progressing disease.
Complete — the most comprehensive profile for rare and clinically challenging cases.
Every tumour is different. Molecular analysis reads the “instructions” that guide how a tumour behaves — its DNA, RNA and other layers of information. The aim is to give your oncologist more precise information so they can consider whether a more targeted treatment or a suitable clinical trial may exist for you.
01
A tumour sample and/or a routine blood draw is used. We arrange the logistics in cooperation with your doctor.
02
We process the sample and the results are assessed by an expert team — a molecular biologist, bioinformatician and oncologist.
03
Your oncologist receives a clear report and discusses the next steps with you. Your doctor remains your primary contact.
THREE LEVELS
Each level expands the depth of the molecular view. The appropriate scope is considered together with your doctor.
Molecular characterisation of the tumour at DNA and RNA level.
The entry level already includes tumour analysis at both DNA and RNA level, together with liquid biopsy and expert assessment of the results.
When we recommend it
Advanced multi-omic tumour analysis.
Includes everything in Insight and adds single-cell analysis, a microRNA profile and DNA methylation.
When we recommend it
The most comprehensive multi-omic tumour profile.
Includes everything in Advanced and adds whole-genome sequencing (WGS), single-cell WGS and ATAC-seq / ChIP-seq.
When we recommend it
| Analysis | What it provides | Insight | Advanced | Complete |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tumour DNA analysis | Looks for gene changes that may open an option for targeted treatment. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| RNA profiling | Shows which genes are active in the tumour — complementing the DNA view. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Liquid biopsy — blood test (ctDNA) | Monitoring the tumour from a routine blood draw, without another procedure. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Single-cell analysis | Distinguishes different cell types in the tumour, including potentially resistant ones. | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| microRNA | An additional regulatory layer that may refine the view of the tumour. | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| DNA methylation | Epigenetic changes; in some tumours they help determine the type more precisely. | — | ✓ | ✓ |
| Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) | The broadest view of tumour DNA, including changes outside common panels. | — | — | ✓ |
| Single-cell WGS | A view of tumour evolution and its resistant cell subgroups. | — | — | ✓ |
| ATAC-seq and ChIP-seq | Advanced analyses of tumour regulation for the most complex cases. | — | — | ✓ |
| Clear report | Results explained for you and your doctor. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Doctor consultation | Coordination and communication with your oncologist throughout the process. | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
✓ included · — not part of this level
You can begin with a lower level and add a higher one later if the first results and your doctor's recommendation show that an expanded analysis makes sense for you. Analyses already completed are not repeated.
We take care of logistics, laboratory work, interpretation and communication with the oncologist. You and your family can focus on what matters most.
01
We send your oncologist all the necessary information.
02
The documents and sample are prepared for processing.
03
The report is usually available within 14–30 days after the sample is confirmed.
04
Together with you, they determine the next steps.
